God's kingdom isn't a matter of what you put in your stomach, for goodness' sake. it's what god does with your life as he sets it right,puts it together, and completes it with joy
kingdom of heaven is not about food or beverages. Heaven is more talk about the silk road, the truth and the life. that's why Jesus came into the world, namely to bring the kingdom of heaven on earth that could happen to us. Sometimes we are measuring the success of faith or spiritual level rise from physical things. we feel very blessed when we get a new car prize.We feel our faith successful when we get a new home. sometimes we feel like a failure if we have not managed to become rich. we feel like a failure when we have not got a mate, get a new job etc..
this is not correct.do we not need to have the desire to get a new car? what's the point to pray before eating? Whether we should not become rich?
This is a question we need to ponder on this day!
The Prioritize kingdom of heaven is a major thing in our lives. we do not fail when we still do not get Physical things. we called a failure if we can not defend our faith to Jesus. And we called a success when we can maintain salvation and do God give to us. an example: maybe we should sacrifice our treasure to the kingdom of heaven and even if we are insulted, or we fail to get a job just because we are Christians, then in fact we are called as the man who succeeded.
unsuccessful because the faith is more beautiful than succesful because only a physical thing. Rejoice in the holy Spirit is eternal compared to rejoice in worldly things.
but whether we still do not need a car or a house ?
Yeah, we should have it. God does not want us poor and God also wants us to be blessed by it, but let our lives focusing on spiritual things. Property only as a means to reach the kingdom of heaven. property we can use to magnify God's name in place of the Most High. so the property is as a bonus and facilities from God to spread the gospel of the kingdom of heaven.
just as we worked in the office by wearing clothes and shoes. our goal is not our shoes and clothes, but our goal is to finish our job and earn wages to feed our families. So we should really focus on the kingdom of heaven.
Start today ask the Lord Jesus that we may have a heart to focus on the kingdom of heaven. GBU

God wants us to have an aboundance of life, and that would mean also material things. But what God does not want is for us to put anything that He may bless us with above Him. Money in our life for the glory of God is good, but the love of money is a sin. Good post. God bless, Lloyd
Yes, we do need to change our thinking and the way we view "success". And yes, "Faith is more beautiful than success". :)
I couldn't agree more! God doesn't want us poor, but our focus should be on heavenly things, not earthly things...
Great word and great reminder to keep our hearts and minds focused on the most important thing - Jesus!

"Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to us." God wants us to prioritize Him first in our lives then whatever we need (not want though He also gives us that sometimes) He will provide. God bless!
